Ok, so I am having a permissions problem. I have repaired permissions repeatedly. I have Changed Permissions on individual, problem folders.
I have a backup disk that is a 2 disk raid disk. I can't remember what it's called but it is 2 2tb disks raided together so they make one big 4 tb disk. That is the only way I could get one disk big enough for Time Machine.
I have read that restoring from a non mac backup disk causes problems with permissions. That is why I tried to fix the permissions on certain folders, to no avail.
Any more ideas?
