Can't find CC to compile goodies:(

I've read that OS X ships with an Apple-edited version of CC, which can be used to compile apps in the terminal... I can't find where it is on my newly installed system. Do I need to add CC? or is it hiding?

I've searched for it with the finder and still no luck.

If you havent installed the Dev Tools CD it won't be anywhere, otherwise its at /usr/bin/cc I think

Thanks for the info... I looked everywhere, and found no mention of the developer CD... When I bought my new G4/500 powerbook, it didn't come with OSX, so I had to wrench the salesperson's arm in order to get him to give me an OSX disk... Now I have to go back and get a dev disk...
