I have a Mac OS 10.4.11 /cable broadband. I regularly access a web site' IMSLP' (an on line library of PD sheet music scores) for study and/or occasionally to down load the sheet music available. I used the site yesterday and when I clicked the download page I got -' Safari cant open the page http://imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/c/cc/IMSLP60492-PMLP123952-anfossi_ai_dolci_affetti.pdf because Safari cant find the server imslp.info.' I also tried using Firefox and got a similar message! It is till the same today also. My friends on Windows and one on a Mac (also on cable broadband) can all access this facility. It seems the problem is specific to my computer.

Hi thanks for a such a speedy response. To answer your question, I could access all other web sites, but in any event have also by now resolved the issue (not that i understood how) I found a forum on the imslp site and an answer that instructed me to change part of the download page address when the 'cant find' message comes up.What the problem was is still a mystery to me. thanks again
