I am trying to unarchive some .bin files. It appears that they are being unarchived (Archive Utility window opens and says "Unarchiving (file name)..." and shows the progress bar completing the task), but I cannot find the unarchived files anywhere. I set Archive Utility to place the opened files in a certain folder, but the files are not in that folder after being unarchived. I have done several different searches with the finder to try and find the files, but no luck. Perhaps they have a different name when they become unarchived? Does that happen? If so, how do you find them then if they aren't being sent to the folder I've designated in the Archive Utility preferences? Any insights would be much appreciated! I'm on a MacBook 2.1 Inel Core 2 Duo, 10.5.7.
