Cant get rid of Little Snitch. Please help

Please help.
I am a recent convert to mac so please pity my ignorance.

I am trying to get rid of the application little snitch, but I think I have deleted the uninstaller. It doesn't appear in the systems preferences > accounts > Login items menu either. I deleted everything I could find, but the ghost of little snitch remains. It is on my menu bar when I log in and I get regular messages asking if I want to purchase the full version, but cant find anything on my hard drive.

Any suggestions?

The easiest thing to do when this happens, is to download the installer again, run it and look for the uninstall routine.
Below is a quote from the authors of Little Snitch...

"Uninstall Little Snitch

Start the Little Snitch installer application from the disk image or any other location (as outlined above).
Choose the option "uninstall".
