can't get server address `netbiosname':

I am having all sorts of problems trying to connect to a PC using DAVE, SMB whatever, basically its seeing nothing whatsoever, and when I try and do via the terminal or the address box in connect I get "can't get server address `netbiosname':"

What is going on? Thx in advance...

is the netbiosname of your server actually netbiosname?

yeah it seems say the same thing, no matter what Workgroup I try and connect to.
