Can't get Twain Plug-in my Photoshop CS4

I downloaded a free 30 day trial of Adobe Photoshop CS4. However, I can't seem to find a way to scan photos from my Epson Stylus Photo RX580 printer from Photoshop. There doesn't seem to be a Twain in the Import menu area. How else do you scan then? Is there a way to download Twain without having to buy the Adobe Photoshop CS4 software? And if I do, how do I get Twain?
 
I have the same problem. When I upgraded our Work machines to CS3, the TWAIN driver for our multifunction scanner wasn't compatible.
 
Same problem, however, if you "get info" on PS and check "Open Using Rosetta" it will scan with the twain. WHY? Dunno know!
