The file you're trying to view probably doesn't have a supported codec for Windows Media. What time of movie file is it? What's the site?

codec, thats the word it used! the error I got. :(

what does this mean, that windows media player isn't any good? I cant use that, realaudio dont have an osX version... what app can I use? I thought quicktime would do this, let me view movies online in my browser?

the file was at:

www.techtv.com

just any movie file...

Well, I'm guessing TechTV would use standard Windows Media codecs since they canned QuickTime and Real. I guess not.

I, myself, try to avoid TechTV. Their hosts are biased and they focus too much on closed and proprietary thinigs, like Windows.
