I just got the MacOS X beta today, and I was SO happy! Until i tried to install it that is
It got to the bsd subsystem, about half way on that one it stoped and put this text above the status bar:
"There where errors in the installation.
operation failed"
Or something very simmilar. I don't know if this is a know issue. I tried installing again, then the installer dissapeared and I was left with the empty blue screen, no menu bar and a spinning wheel cursor. I had to restart. And however many times I have tried to continue the installation it gives the error again and again. I tried reformating my startup disk, I tried installing it on the second internat HD, but nothing works.
My setup:
PowerMac G3 (B/W) 300 Mhz, 320mb ram, one 6.0gb internal hd, and one 8.4 gb internal hd. I am currently running US MacOS 9.0.4.
Has anyone seen anything like this, or have any kind of advice? Please help me out!!
Thanks in beforehand!
