Can't install ? updates

First, I couldn't install the latest Quicktime update. Then it was the same with the Pro Apps update: "Update could not be unpacked correcty."

What can I do? I have already gone thru all Applejack repair routines - no error to be found.

These issues seem to be related. Which model Mac are you trying to update?

Besides, there is no difference if I'm logged in as usual or as root.
