hello lads, tried last night to update my system to 10.3.4. During the download the connection broke up, so I tried again; but just the same szenario. I shut 'em off in case to try it next day, so, today. Problem: after requested for my username and password the screen changes to the DARWIN/BSD (console) interface and the message which appears is:

login: IP packet filtering initialized, divert enabled, rule-based forwarding enabled, default to accept, logging disabled
IPv6 packet filtering initialized, default to accept, logging disabled
IP firewall loaded

help, I need help

Use the OS CD to start it up. Then in the installer screen, go to the installer menu and select Disk Utility. You need to verify and repair permissions. While you are at it, run First aid just to be on the safe side.

When that is done, go to the menu to select Start up disk and select your hard drive, then restart.
