For some reason, when I try to copy a file from a removable disk to my partition with OS X on it, I get the message that my hard drive can't be modified. When I log on as root, I can modify the disk, but that is a pain. Does anyone know how I can change the permissions that that I (the administrator) can modify my hard drive? Thanks.
