Can't print some pages from Safari

Some pdf pages displayed by Safari 2.0(412) won't print on my HP 2300n. If I save and open them in Acrobat they print fine. Is there a way to make Safari print properly?

PS: Forum search is not available, so I couldn't search to see if this had been posted before. Sorry if it has.
 
You have an older HP LasterJet printer. My experience with older HP printers is that they may not handle some of the more graphics-intensive documents and web pages particularly well. PDF files may choke them, but are less likely to do so. They constitute a well-behaved subset of PostScript.
