Cant Save System Updates!!

I just downloaded a 26MB java update using system update, thinking i could save it to disk later (as mac os help says so), but there is NO SUCH OPTION to allow me to save that update!!!!

Go to apple.com website, look for the same update, and download it. I'm sure there was an other way to do it (just a few clicks on the system) but I can't think which was it right now.

There is an option to save to Desktop when you use Software Update. It's under the Update Menu.

You can't install AND save the update in the same Software Update session. You have to install it OR save it, not both at the same time.
