Can't send emails with pics from i-Photo

Hi..
Recently I have not been able to send pics from i-photo. The emails go directly into my Mail Out box. Can't send the outbox emails either.

The error box says: (the server "smtp.google.com" refused to allow a connection on port 587)

Everything worked fine till this situation occurred...Tim

I'm on a G-4 with OS X 10.4.11

Are you able to send regular email through that SMTP server?
