I bought a wireless router hooked up to our desktop pc the other day, and from the beginning I was able to share itunes from my 12" ibook with an airport card with my pc.
Sometime in the last week I downloaded and installed apple's latest security update. That's the only significant change I've made to the ibook. Now my ibook/itunes doesn't show up on the windows box. I even reset the router to factory settings, because I had turned on MAC filtering. The ibook gets a wireless connection, but no itunes sharing.
Bonus round: neither the pc nor the ibook are visible to each other in network neighborhood, and it'd be great to be able to share the pc printer (canon s630).
If you could even just send me a good URL to start experimenting, that would be great. Thanks!
