I've been getting an "error code 6" box while burning a cd. I'll copy the files to the cd, begin to burn, and after about 10 seconds it says "finishing" and the cd will eject. I've tried several different cd types (memorex, imation, hp, etc.) and it seems to happen with all makes. If I change my burn settings, say instead of "maximum" to 12x, it'll work eventually. Sometimes it doesn't, usually 12x does it, the lowest I've had to go is 8x. 16x is the maximum this drive will support. It's a CD-R/DVD ROM, make: Philips. I'm running OS X 10.2.8 - thanks
