I've started having this problem in the last two weeks, even though I never had any trouble before (regularly copying 400MB+ at once to CD-RW's). Whenever I try to copy more than about 80 MB to a mounted CD-RW, I get error -36. Even if I try to copy one folder at a time, I will usually get it after the aggregate amount copied exceeds 100 MB. Sometimes, instead of error -36, I get a jerky cursor and total system lockup.
Not sure what's causing it...I thought that it might be related to the fact that I installed Norton Utilities 7 recently, but the original post is long before NU 7 was released, so I don't think it's related. Anyone know what this problem is?
