cd does not wok

hello
i recently bought a dvd and audio cd pack of a music band..the dvd worked well in dvd player like it should....but the audio cd is not beign recognised and is being ejected before even comin up on screen or anything...i've tried many times...no use...i put it into another laptop..a compaq....it worked...so what can i do??

Those are two different lasers in the drive. Have you tried a CD/DVD drive cleaner yet?
