CD Drive doesn't work - please help?

Hi,

I have a 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 and I am running Mac OS X version 10.3.9.
Recently I put a blank CD (Datawrite Titanium) into my hard drive and since then I've not been able to mount any CD's at all. I was wondering if anyone can help me.

Sometimes, restarting with the mouse button held down
will help. It seems to cause the CD-ware to remember
its mission.
 
superdrive right? yeah they suck mine broke after a year about a month after the warrenty expired. now it doesnt read dvdrs.. damn
hope you got 70 for a new one
