CD Drive

Hi,

Just began working recently on a small network. Want to install Bru LE on an OS X Server 10.4.2 and the cd keeps getting kicked out of the drive before anything comes up on the screen. For testing purposes I tried the CD in a PowerMac with no problem.

On the server, I was able to get a DataRescue CD to load okay.
A Creative Suite CD got kicked out like the Bru did.

I take it the server won't take certain cd's... it just ejects them...
 
Well, do you want to troubleshoot the drive or just get your BRU software installed? Put the BRU disc into a machine that reads it, open up diskutility and create a .dmg file of the CD. Transfer the CD back to the server and use it that way.
