CD is stuck in my ibook laptop

Why is it every time i leave my laptop out when my friends are about something happens it? at the weekend a CD went into it and will not budge out. I can hear the computer trying to spit it out but so far nothing, i'v tried all the ejecting tricks i can think of, including the button inside the CD slot which is pushed in but nothing. Can anyone help as i'v just got it back from the fix shop and copped out a good bit of doh for a new LCD Screed(i'l never learn)

It sometimes happens with my MacBook and annoys the hell out of me. Use your fingers at the middle of the slot and pry the thing up and down (the opening itself). You may even want to be doing it when you eject the cd and catch it as it comes out.
