G gerbick poptart villain Dec 1, 2001 #1 dang it... I've got to send my lil' iBook into Apple to get fixed. Found out I was indeed having a hardware issue with my CD-ROM. Also found out that you could not upgrade the optical drive either (I figure that though). argh.
