Hello, I have just boughten a used mac mini and I have been having some problems burning cd's for multiple burns. The one glitch I'm trying to figure out is that in my "System Preferences" window all the icons show up except the "cd's & dvd's" icon, it is missing. What would cause this?
I was also trying to burn a cd through disk utility so it could be reburnable but it wouldn't mount the disk to my desktop after the burn and when I put the disc on my pc it said it had nothing on it.
My superdrive tends to be real noisy when it runs off of a disc, is this normal?
I have the panther operating system and my warranty runs out on the end of January.
