CD Write

Hi Guys

Now every mac systems are come with built in cd writing option.my question is is it possible disable this option?

Do you mean if it is possible to deselect a combo drive from the option list of the new macs and get a regular cd-drive instead or somehow restrict the burning option to certain users?
Although I don't know the answer to any of the previous questions it might be helpful for other members.
