CD-Writer no longer worlking

I have and old HP CD-Writer 8200 plus, and it worked ok before I put 10.1. Now it's not recognizing it...Does anyone know how I can remedy that? or is it not possible? Thanks.

If you're CD-RW is a USB one, then you're probably out of luck.

If it's an internal one, I got an 8100 series to work in 10.1 with Toast 5 SP2, you may need to re-install Toast and reboot your machine .. but it should work.

damn...It's the USB one...those bastards had to thwart my cd writing. damnit, i hate when they screw me like that.
