Changing background randomly...

How can one set his OSX environment to change the background picture randomly?

Make a folder with the backgrounds you want displayed randomly. Open System Preferences, then "Desktop & Screen Saver". Click on the "Desktop" tab. Drag and drop your background folder into the sidebar there, highlight it, then click "Change picuture:" at the bottom. Set a time interval, then click the "Random order" checkbox next to it.

The time interval won't be random, but the selection of the picture will be (well, as random as a computer can generate).

Or playback your fav screensaver in your background (if you have a fast system).

You can change the pictures randomly by right-clicking on the desktop, change desktop background, and then choose the folder that contains your pictures-and one of the choices is to have the pictures change randomly at some interval(s)-but I also have a quesiton-I have done this, but when I restart the computer I have to set up the desktop backgroun again-as if it didn't get saved as a permanent setting
