Changing Login Picture

How do I change that picture behind the login window when the system start up ?

In the Accounts Preference Pane, click Edit the user you want to change.

are you talking about the 'splash' screen? (sorry, I think splash is a pc term - I'm a switcher)

not that I know, but I'd be interested in knowing too. I think bobw is referring to the user icon...

I believe he's referring to the blue background behind the login window... to alter it, open up...

/library/desktop pictures/aqua blue.jpg

you could alter that image, or replace it with another image with the same name.

Thanks to you all, but I already get it. Im using Visage, its very easy to change anything using it.
