Also, the file is called "CheckForExpensiveMac", not "CheckForExpensiveMachine". It's really hard to find and remove, though. It seems the OS X CD still has the data from the file embedded into the installer even if the file is removed. Oh well. :\
 
I changed it to Mac OS X 11.0.1, so I figured that will be released some time in 2002.

I'm not sure the font you mentioned was avaliable to the gimp... guess its not a standard x11 font.

btw, I can't get my lc2's ethernet card to work full duplex in osx.. it does in os 9 of course.

And simx, you're right about that file, glad you caught that one.

I didn't know about my answer, but ok. I own only a Performa(the other is so...). So I can write maconly software, but the result can be so unstructured with these editor that doesn't accept everything. ...

The Internet Explorer Skin, is as i sed a skin, thats why i aint how i want it.. i am looking @ hacking into the DLL, and Editing the images... but hey... Comes in time...

That does look just like a mac. Of course, it's not for me. I'd miss the unix underpinnnings and my Win2k machine crashes once a week while my mac never does.

By the way, I applaud you for not covering up the girl this time. ;)
