Changing picture date/time info

Greetings and Happy New Year,

It appears that the date and time were set wrong on our camera when we took a bunch of pictures tonight. Is it possible to change at least the date that these pictures were taken so that they appear in correct chronological order in iPhoto? This is the date/time info that appears when you highlight a photo in iPhoto and select Show Info. I am willing to hack into these files with HexEdit if need be, but maybe there's an easier way someone can describe.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

In iPhoto app, select the photos you want to change, then click on "Photos" on the toolbar. You will be presented with "Batch Change" From there you can change anything you want. Simple!

Good luck!

Here, 'iPhoto 6' v. 6.0.4 and "iPhoto '08" v. 7.1, do not have a 'Photos' toolbar icon.

However, I did note the following:

01. Select the desired photos.
02. Select 'iPhoto's 'Photos, Batch Change...' menu item ('Command <shift> B'); or, right button ('<control>' press, if using a single button mouse) click on one of the selected photo, and select the resultant contextual menus' 'Batch Change' menu item. Either way - a drop down sheet will appear.
03. From the drop down sheets' 'Set' popup menu - select the 'Date' menu item. The drop down sheets' panel will readjust presenting user configurable 'Date:' and 'Time:' controls.

Thank you skybolt for mentioning the 'Batch Change' feature.
