I understand Natobasso what you meant and you are right if we have to download it at all, why not from some reliable sources.

Does anyone know why Google Chrome is so large? It's 100.5 MB on my Mac Mini! It is incredibly fast, faster than Firefox (50.7 MB on disk). Since switching from PowerPC to Intel, I've noticed that operating system updates are twice as large as for Intel compared to PowerPC. Any suggestions?
