cinema display full screen using my powerbook?

hi!

i just bought this new 20" cinema display but i cant figure out how to make the cinema display to show up things full screen while i work in my powerbook on other things? i just wanna play a movie or music videos from itunes full screen on the cinema display while i m using safari or word on the powerbook. please help! i guess it is so simple but i just cant get it. :( the problem i have now is that if i put something full screen goes full screen on both, the cinema display n my G4 1.67ghz powerbook. help!!! i m not using mirroring, but desktop extension, so how to do it?
 
iTunes doesn't allow this. It _does_ work with VLC. Beautifully. Depends, of course, on what you're expecting the computer to do simultaneously, since decoding video can hog the processor, too. www.videolan.org ...
 
thanks! it sucks i cant do it with itunes but anyway thanks for ur tip! i ll use VLC n MPlayer OS then.
