cinema display question

I'm looking for a large TFT to replace my 17" LG. Main reason is back trouble caused by a low-sitting monitor. I'm interested in the 23" Apple display but it's not height adjustable. Does anybody own a cinema display and feel that they sit too low? My nearest Apple dealership went to the wall so I have never seen the new model except in a picture. Any advice/information appreciated. Thanks

Although the base on the Cinema display is not height adjustable, the base can be replaced fairly easily. Then you can add a swivel-arm, or other articulated mounts can be quickly installed, Apple even sells an adapter for this, it's called a VESA adapter. This is an industry standard adapter that a number of companies support.
Or, if just height is an issue, build a shelf of some kind where you can place the display as high as you like.
