I'm running 10.1.1, and having trouble accessing our ASIP server with Classic apps. Even if I'm logged onto the server in OSX, if I try to open a file on the server (an Excel file for example), I switch back to Excel in classic, and get the old OS9 password/login window. This happens everytime time I try to open a file, and what's worse, it's now started to add a mounted volume to my desktop everytime! It didnt do this before I had to reinstall the system, but I'm convinced it's set up the same way. It's driving me mad, so any help will be gratefully received!!
Another possibly related problem - double-clicking Excel files in the OSX Finder will often bring Excel to the front without opening the file - the only way I can open them is through the File/Open menu, which is a pain. I've rebuilt the OS9 desktop (both from within Classic and when booting from OS9) but it hasnt seemed to help.
