Recently purchased a G3 Pismo which had been upgraded to the maximum allowable for this machine to 10.3.9. The fellow I bought it from had 9.2.2 on another partition but when I tried to boot from this partition - or even use Classic - I get the message "The System Software on the startup disk only functions on the original media, not if copied to another drive." And the only option is Restart with the same thing happening once again. I was able to force my way out of this conundrum ONCE with Cmd Opt P-R but it ain't doing the trick now.
