Classic Loads then Mysteriously Crashes silently

I launch a program for classic or launch classic alone, and it loads fine. I get to the desktop and it crashes silently, no os x warning or dialog telling me it crashed. It just dissappears. I even tried loading classic without extensions.....? What gives.... Classic was more stable in DP4!

Mine did the same thing at first..Then I reinstalled OSX (for other reasons) and it worked.. The diffrents?
It would seam that on the first install of OSX when I ran classic for the first time it DID NOT install any of the new/updated extensions it needs.After the reinstall the first time I ran classic It gave me the 'you need to update some files' message and put them in..
If yours did not do this email me and i'll email them to you.

Did you install OSX on an Unix partition? I had the same problem intill I re-installed OSX in a HFS+ partition.

Yes it was on a UFS format the first time.... mmmmm?
