I like many others have had the Disappearing Classic
Problem. And I have a fix (well it worked for me)
boot in to Classic (not though X) and simple trash your prefs. (put them in a folder somewhere)
When you go back to X and boot up Classic, It thinks
its the first time its been run and reinstalls all the system bits it needs ,all nice and fresh.
This seemed to fix what ever was bombing Classic out.
You can then copy back any prefs you need.
.... SIMPLE (mmm maybe to simple!)
