Ok, so have been trouble shooting this issue since the end of last week.
Both the clients and the server are all up to date with OS X 10.5.3
Right now I have two computers that I'm having this issue with. When I go to bind the client to the server i get this message:
If I select Overwrite, I get the following error:
Not sure why there is the option to overwrite if it does not force it.
Anyways, back on track. I'm not sure what happen to get this issue. Not sure if I deleted these computers in the LDAP plug'n without unbinding or not. Not sure if that would cause this issue.
On the server side, I have no record at all of the computers and i have gone as far as to re-install the OS with a fresh install and yet once setup, the client still get these messages which means the issue must be on the client side.
On the client side, I have removed the "directory Services" folder at /Library/Preferences/ and re-try and still same issue.i have also checked to see if the "edu.mit.Kerberos " file at /Library/Preferences/edu.mit.Kerberos is stuck for some reason but it's not present at all ...... basically because this file is created once bound.
Some file on the system is keeping information and I can not seem to find it.
Any ideas?
