As most all of you may know, the imminent release of OS27 will kill all Intel based applications if you have an Apple silicone Mac.

One of my favorites which I use daily is Kopypasta, a clipboard that holds as many clips as I choose.

Does anyone have a good silicone based replacement that they like?

Well, I have updated to OS 27, and, sure enough, Kopypasta was disabled.
However, upon opening it, Apple gave me the option to download Rosetta.
It now works just as before, but I got a warning that OS 28 will not allow it.

I now have an approximate 1 year reprieve!

As most all of you may know, the imminent release of OS27 will kill all Intel based applications if you have an Apple silicone Mac.

This is false. macOS 27 will run Intel-only apps just as well as Tahoe could. You just need to re-download Rosetta 2. This is the easiest way to do that manually:

Copy and paste the following command into the Terminal window and press Return:

softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license

Or, you can just launch any Intel-only app and you will be prompted to download Rosetta 2. However, running a print job or a scan job WILL NOT prompt you to download Rosetta 2. If you don't have an Intel-only app, install Rosetta 2 via the Terminal, as outlined above.
