Cloning a Mini M1 to Mini M2

Hey all - I am bringing an intern into my office to learn the ins and outs of Prepress. I currently use a Mini M1 and that will become the intern's Mac. I will get a Mini M2 (Studio I hope!). What;s the best way for me to clone all of my settings, everything so I still have the same functions as the M1. I'll update the Adobe subscription but…
I want the same preferences on the new M2 that I have on the M1.

.Get a thunderbolt ¾ cable between the computers and on new computer use /Applications/Utilities/Migration Assistant to transfer you documents/music and email server settings and use the document What to do ..and use that to transfer to new computer! Also on any big programs write down the shareware keys for big program to download the updated version and the key to get a really reduced price!

Educate me on what a thunderbolt ¾ cable is please. Is that just a 3 or 4 thunderbolt cable?
