I have a 15" MBP, 2.4, 2G RAM and a 20" Widescreen Dell 2007WFP monitor. I've changed the color profile for the dell -the default is too washed out. On occasion, when the computer sleeps and I wake it, the profile doesn't load. It's still selected, it just doesn't load. When I open system prefs and hit the 'displays' icon, the profile loads (I can see the colors shift). Note that I don't even need to select 'color' once I've hit the 'displays' button/icon. It seems the profile just doesn't load and it stays at the default setting -but I again, it remains selected as the profile and I don't have to re-select it.
Ideas?
