I am hoping someone can help me with this one.
Basically I have a Linksys Wireless Access point with the additional 4 ethernet ports. I have my old Linksys switch with 4 ports that I would like to connect to the WAP to gain some additional ports to plug in to.
I contacted Linksys technical support and they sent me a response that was vague. I set it aside and forgot about it. Either way now I need to do this so I assume I need to turn off DHCP in the 4 port switch. But there are some other configs I will need to do as well. I am assuming I will need to do something with Dynamic Routing as well. I don't really understand the difference between a gateway and a router. Can anyone explain this?
Also why are the TX and RX settings on that page? What is the point of disabling or enabling them?
