hi, my combo drive and ipod show up on disk utility, but they don't show up in itunes or on the finder (although audio cds shows up in itunes). After reading through the previous questions, I've tried:
deleting the dock.plist, finder.plist, lauchservices.plist;
zapping the pram and resetting firmware;
I can't delete /System/Library/Extension.kextcache
as I haven't got root access.
When I go on netinfo, it says "Domain (null) has no root account. You must log in on the computer named (null) (where the master is located) to make changes."
