I am writing something with a colleague, she in her home and office and me in mine. But we want to contribute to one document. Can this be done--have a signle document that we can both have access to?

It sounds like a Wiki.. cool.

If you want to edit at the same time, you could use VNC so that you could both look at the same desktop.
