Communication ADSL with PPP obtained from server

I just couldn't figure out how I can do SSH between two machines with following configuration:
? iMac classic, Jaguar, USB alcatel speedtouch ADSL modem, IP adress comming from PPP-server
? iMac, Jaguar, ADSL router with IP spoofing, Alcatal speedtouch home modem, IP adress comming from PPP-server

Is there a way to do SSH between those two machines? How can you obtain a static IP? (I guess this might be necessary).
