compiling noname-0.1.7.tar.gz

hi!
I want to compile noname-0.1.7.tar.gz. Firstly I had to correct the link to the install-sh file, now starts configuring but stop with the following message:

checking for C compiler default output... a.out
checking whether the C compiler works... configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs.

Any hints?

You need to install the Developer Tools before you can compile anything in OS X

Unfortunately I do have the Developer Tools installed
Any other ideas?

You need to install them. It is not possible to compile any program without it. You can download it from Apples site, it's around 600M. Or, if you have a retail boxed version of OS X, it's the brownish gray CD that came with it.

Even if I repeat myself: I have Developer Tools installed !!!
They usually work and they are used by fink all the time. So any other ideas?
