For the past couple of weeks we have had a problem with itunes causing the computer (an iMac running OS X 10.5.5) to freeze and we can't even do a forced quit, but must turn off the machine manually. This seems to happen specifically when we are in the itunes store, not just working with the playlist.
The computer has also frozen when in safari - the last time when we were trying to copy a page into Word.
We thought it might be a wireless connectivity problem, but I have switched to an ethernet connection and still have the same problem happening.
