Computer Isn't Reading my Memory Card

I have an epson printer cx6600. I have a G4 running 10.2.8. The memory card from my digital camera all of a sudden isn't being recognized by my computer. When I insert the memory card it normally shows up as a removable disk on my desktop. I've been using this memory card and computer together for over a year now with no problems. I keep getting the message "communication error." I have checked all plugs, uninstalled all the epson software and reinstalled. I have no idea what to do next. I need to get my photos running for ebay. I'm desperate. Thank you

sounds as if the card reader has given up the ghost. just goto your computer store. And get your self a new card reader. At Wal-mart or Compusa you get one for about $10-$20.
