I have an old powermac g3 beige with 10.2 installed. I recently changed the pram battery as it was not remembering the correct date and time. Thought i'd fixed as it seemed ok but now it forgets the time again. Would this be the battery or something else, as it was a new battery. Funny thing is it forgets the time even when I leave the mac switched ON at the wall which suggests its not the battery which I thought was for remembering settings when all mains power is off. Before I changed the battery it would remember the time if it was switched on at the wall.
