I am having trouble getting the images from my camcorder. I can see the clips but not view them at all on the laptop.

Any thoughts?

A miniDVD is a DVD. Remove the DVD from your camera and insert it into your Mac's tray-loading optical drive. In order to edit your video, you will have to use a RIPping utility like Handbrake.

You can't insert a miniDVD in a slot-loading optical drive. This is why I said tray-loading optical drive in my previous post.

But when trying to open and view them through iphoto says they are in an unknowen format.

Iphoto is what the manual says to use.

I have no trouble conecting and acessing even the mem stick but the files do not seem to be supported by my Mac

And go straight to Iphoto but the dvd flies on the disk

path= /Volumes/SONY_MOBILE/BDMV/CLIPINF/00001.clpi

Are not able to be view or changed.
